MEDIATION FEES

TWO PARTY CASES HOURLY RATE
The hourly rate for two-party cases is $180. The hourly rate applies to mediation sessions as well as pre-mediation conferences, production and review of written materials, preparation and telephone conferences. Fees are typically divided equally among the parties, unless the parties agree otherwise.

MULTI-PARTY CASES HOURLY RATE
The rate for multi-party cases ranges up to $400 per hour depending on the number of parties and complexity of issues. For rates on these cases, please contact us.

REDUCED FEES
A reduced fee may be available when the standard rate is not economically viable. Every effort will be made to accommodate the parties' budgetary concerns.

COSTS
The parties will be billed the cost of any expenses incurred, such as for overnight deliveries, travel etc. Travel time is billed at one-half the actual time, or as otherwise agreed.

RETAINER, DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION
A Retainer of $500 is required at the time the first mediation session is scheduled.  The retainer is applied toward the above mentioned written and verbal correspondence, as well as the production of the “Memorandum of Understanding”.  You will receive a receipt documenting the expenditure of these monies.    

In order to reserve a full day mediation slot, a deposit will be required at the time the session is scheduled. The deposit will be fully refundable, minus fees incurred, until 14 days before the scheduled date. If the mediation session is canceled without 14 days notice, the deposit will no longer be refundable. However, the parties may opt to transfer the deposit to another date, or split it among dates if a full day session is no longer desired.
